ZEHN PARTNERS · Finance & Business Advisory

Accounting, reporting and analysis, with responsibility made clear.

We undertake defined accounting, reporting and financial analysis assignments for businesses, finance leaders and professional accounting and advisory firms. From recurring close work to a focused forecast or process improvement, we agree the scope and prepare the work for the people who will use it.

Who we work with

Work for your business or your practice

Businesses & finance leaders

Bring us recurring bookkeeping or month-end work, a management reporting requirement, or a cash forecast for upcoming commitments. We also undertake budgeting, financial analysis and agreed improvements to finance processes and controls.

You receive the prepared work with the assumptions and unresolved matters that need your attention. Management approves the financial information and decides how to act.

Professional accounting & advisory firms

Commission accounting and client accounting services (CAS) preparation, or defined audit or tax preparation support, within your firm’s requirements. We prepare the agreed work and supporting schedules, identify exceptions and hand over for your review.

Your firm retains the client relationship, final review, professional judgement and any required approval or sign-off.

Representative assignments

What you can commission

These examples illustrate possible assignments, not completed client engagements. We agree the period, inputs and deliverables for each requirement.

Close & management reporting

Your month-end figures need supporting reconciliations and a reporting pack.

ZEHN work

We reconcile agreed balances, prepare schedules and assemble the pack, flagging material open items.

Output & intended use

Your finance lead receives the pack and supporting work to review the period’s results.

Management approves adjustments and the final information.

A cash forecast for upcoming commitments

You need to assess whether expected receipts will cover planned payments over an agreed period.

ZEHN work

We prepare a forecast from available records and management’s assumptions, adding agreed scenarios where relevant.

Output & intended use

Projected balances, assumptions and potential shortfalls help management consider payments or funding.

Management confirms the assumptions and decides what action to take.

Accounting preparation for your firm’s review

Your practice needs accounting or CAS preparation completed within its instructions.

ZEHN work

We prepare agreed reconciliations and supporting schedules, with internal checking appropriate to scope.

Output & intended use

You receive the work with exceptions and unresolved queries so your reviewer can follow the preparation and continue the engagement.

Your firm retains final review and sign-off.

Responsibility in view

Inspect the engagement

See how a possible assignment would be organised, documented, reviewed and handed over. This illustration shows the prepared work, the matters left open and the decisions retained by the client; it is not a completed ZEHN engagement.

Illustrative engagement

One month-end close and reporting pack

Purpose & boundary

A business needs one month’s financial information assembled for its finance lead’s review.

ZEHN work

ZEHN reconciles agreed balances, prepares supporting schedules and assembles the reporting pack from supplied records.

Output & responsibility

The finance lead receives the pack and material open items. Management approves adjustments and final reports before using the information.

Open matterMissing supplier invoices leave one balance unresolved. The pack flags the possible effect on costs and payables. The client’s finance team supplies the invoices; ZEHN updates the reconciliation within the agreed scope.

Inspect scope, supporting work and handover

Purpose & boundary

The assignment covers one reporting period and only the balances and reports agreed in scope. Management supplies the records and approves adjustments and final reports. Statutory filings and audit procedures are excluded. This is preparation work; it provides no audit assurance.

The practice

Professional delivery, structured around the assignment.

ZEHN PARTNERS is led by co-founders Imad Ul Amin, ACA, and Muhammad Moazam Bhatti, CBA. Our work is organised around each assignment’s requirements, with the intended outputs, responsibilities and review arrangements agreed before work begins.

Delivery is coordinated from Pakistan. Depending on the nature, complexity and timing of the assignment, the founders undertake the agreed work directly and, where appropriate, arrange additional resources or specialist input with clearly defined responsibilities.

What finance work needs your attention?

You do not need a finished scope to start a conversation. Tell us what needs attention, who will use the work and any timing constraints.

We will discuss whether we can take it on and agree the deliverables, responsibilities and timing before work begins.

We review your enquiry and follow up to clarify the requirement.
